Magnesium alloy, copper and other light alloys are widely used in aerospace, new energy vehicles, lightweight manufacturing fields due to their excellent mechanical properties, but the connection between has always been a challenge. Ultrasonic welding is an advanced technology that can realize high-strength heterogeneous alloys. In this study, ultrasonic AZ31B magnesium pure carried out. The fracture, microstructure tensile properties of joint studied, its mechanism analyzed. finite element analysis model magnesium-copper process established. fracture mode welded interface-type fracture. strength reaches maximum value 3798 N. alloy mainly realized by interface diffusion layer formed process. main component Mg2Cu. growth trend revealed. During welding, heat generated central area solder joint, then transferred around. temperature at reach 550 °C. distribution law field plastic deformation
